Assistant Funeral Director
James began working at Crescent Funeral Services as a trainee Funeral assistant, when he left school in June 2018.
James completed his work experience with a local Funeral Director. This enhanced his desire to persue his career within the funeral profession. His late father, Adam, was a local Funeral director, which influenced James' decision to join the profession.
In 2020, James received his Certificate in Funeral Practice, becoming the youngest qualified Funeral Director in the country. His dedication and hard work resulted in him qualifying in two years, rather than the usual three.
When asked about his achievements, James explained, “It has been very rewarding to arrange and conduct funerals and to support families throughout the whole Funeral process. With the help of the team at Crescent, I've been able to qualify in much shorter time period. I look forward to my future within the Funeral profession and to be able to guide and assist families over the coming years.”

James interests include going to music festivals, concerts and spending time with his family and friends.
